This Cookie Notice explains how Lazostar LLC, doing business as WebinarGent (“WebinarGent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and customers that host webinars and public funnel pages through the Service (“Hosts”) use cookies and similar technologies.
It supplements our Privacy Policy. A Host may provide an additional notice for technologies it configures on its pages.
Section 1: What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. They can recognize a browser, maintain a session, remember preferences, protect forms, measure activity, and support advertising attribution. Session cookies usually expire when the browser closes; persistent cookies remain until their stated expiry or deletion.
Similar technologies include pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage objects, and scripts that store or read information on a device. References to “cookies” in this Notice include these similar technologies where applicable.
Section 2: First-party and third-party technologies
First-party cookies are set by the WebinarGent or Host page a visitor is viewing. Third-party technologies are provided by another organization, such as Google or Meta, and may allow that provider to recognize activity across websites subject to its own policies.
WebinarGent controls cookies used for its platform infrastructure. Hosts control optional analytics, advertising pixels, and custom scripts they configure on their public pages.
Section 3: Categories and purposes
Strictly necessary
Authentication, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, consent storage, form protection, and maintaining a requested webinar or funnel journey. These cannot be switched off through our preference manager.
Analytics and performance
Measure visits, engagement, conversion, errors, and page performance so WebinarGent or a Host can improve the Service. These are off until a visitor consents where consent is required.
Functional
Remember choices such as language, workspace, display, and webinar preferences. Some are necessary when a visitor expressly requests the feature; others are optional.
Advertising
Measure campaigns, attribute conversions, limit repetition, and support interest-based advertising. These remain off unless a visitor consents and are disabled when an applicable Global Privacy Control signal is active.
Security
Detect malicious requests, prevent abuse, protect accounts and infrastructure, and support incident response. Security cookies are generally strictly necessary.
Section 5: Host-configured pixels, scripts & integrations
Hosts can configure Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, CRM, marketing, checkout, and other integrations on their webinar or funnel pages. The Host is responsible for its lawful basis, disclosures, configuration, and use of data collected through those tools.
On WebinarGent-rendered public pages, supported analytics and advertising scripts remain blocked until the visitor opts in. Custom code hosted outside WebinarGent’s supported controls may be governed by the Host’s own notice and consent mechanism. Visitors should contact the relevant Host about its independent processing.
Section 6: Managing cookie choices
When a public WebinarGent page has optional analytics or advertising configured, a consent panel appears before those technologies load. Visitors can Accept optional, Reject optional, or choose categories under Customize. After a choice, the persistent Cookie preferences button on that page reopens the controls.
No consent panel is shown where a page uses only strictly necessary cookies. This avoids asking for consent when no optional device storage is being requested.
Browser settings can also block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, form security, registration continuity, or other requested features. Industry opt-out tools include the DAA opt-out, Your Online Choices, and provider-specific controls.
Section 7: Global Privacy Control & Do Not Track
Where a browser sends a Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal, WebinarGent treats it as an opt-out of advertising-related sale or sharing for that browser. Advertising tracking remains disabled and the preference panel explains that GPC is active.
Because the older “Do Not Track” signal does not have a consistent legal or technical standard, WebinarGent does not currently respond to it. Visitors can use the consent panel and browser controls instead.
Section 8: Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice when technologies, providers, laws, or practices change. We will post the revised Notice with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required. Material changes do not retroactively expand a visitor’s prior consent.
